Monica holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, a Juris Doctor law degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree.
She was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2011 and was admitted to the High Court in 2013.
Monica principally practices in Commercial, Body Corporate, Employment and Property law and regularly advises clients on:
• drafting of sale terms and conditions, service agreements, settlement deeds, distribution agreements and option to purchase deeds;
• lease, sale and purchase contracts for residential and commercial properties;
• a wide range of employment law and industrial relation matters including redundancy, unfair dismissal and employment agreements; and
• Body Corporate rights and obligations pursuant to the Body Corporate and Community Management Act and Regulation modules.
Prior to embarking on her legal career, Monica held directorship positions in a number of different companies. This practical knowledge of business operations together with her commercial, property and industrial law experience enables her to offer pragmatic, effective and comprehensive advice to her clients.
