Ben is an experienced technology and litigation lawyer working in our Litigation Department.
After graduating from Bond University, and being admitted as a solicitor in 2011, Ben was appointed as legal compliance advisor for a government-owned corporation and later worked in an international law firm in Brisbane in the Technology and Major Projects division. There, he worked on technology procurement and infrastructure projects in the rail, aircraft, and renewable energy sectors.
Ben’s background in technology, combined with his legal experience in international and boutique law firms means that he can provide clients with highly practical legal advice in relation to technology, intellectual property, telecommunications, privacy and cyber security. While Ben primarily advises software, tech, fintech, and startup companies, he also assists less ‘tech-centric’ companies with their cyber law requirements.
In his spare time, Ben loves to spend time with his family. He can also be found playing his guitar, hoping that some of his inner rock god will eventually shine through.
