Emily is part of our Personal Injury team at MBA Lawyers and assists on a range of matters on injuries and compensation.
Emily graduated from Bond University in 2018 after completing both her law degree and postgraduate in law. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in March of 2019 as a Solicitor, and holds a subsequent practicing certificate from the Supreme Court of Queensland. Emily studied in both China and Hong Kong on multiple occasions throughout her law degree and this led her to graduate with a specialisation in International and Comparative Law. Alongside her legal studies, Emily further undertook biomedical studies as she held a particular interest in same, as well the interplay between these fields of practice.
After completing her studies, Emily practiced in her home town of Melbourne, before making a permanent return to the sunny Gold Coast. While Personal Injury is where Emily feels most comfortable and happy, she considerers her prior experience working in commercial litigation to be invaluable for her commitment to clients. Emily enjoys the balance of providing compassion to her client’s during their tough times, while being strategic and creative behind the scenes. The dichotomy of these work fronts allows Emily to enjoy variety in what she is doing every day of the week.
In her spare time, Emily will most likely be found at the gym, getting active outdoors, or spending time with her family and friends.
