About Amanda Jaekel

After completing a Bachelor of Science in Brisbane and managing a laboratory for a year Amanda switched careers and went into practice management. Initially working for an engineering firm in Brisbane, a move to the Queensland Central West in the mid 90’s saw her employed by a small town law firm and so a 25 year career in accounts and legal practice management began.

During this time Amanda has worked in a range of rural and metropolitan law firms and gained experience in all areas of law in particular conveyancing, estates, litigation and personal injuries as well as accounts.

In order to provide a wider variety of schooling opportunities for her children Amanda and her family relocated to the Gold Coast in 2010.  She quickly became employed by a boutique personal injuries law firm as Office Co-Ordinator and enjoyed the next 11 years with that firm before joining MBA Lawyers.

Amanda is heavily involved in her local Little Athletics club but in her spare time she can be found playing netball or cooking – her chilli jam is legendary.
